How much does a Shimla tour package cost from Delhi?
Three days from Delhi starts at ₹17,500 in a sedan and ₹21,500 in an SUV, all-inclusive of fuel, driver allowance, night halt, tolls, parking and taxes. From Chandigarh or Kalka the same itinerary is roughly ₹5,000 less.
Is 2 nights enough for Shimla?
Yes for the core: the Ridge, Mall Road, Kufri and either Chail or Naldehra. Add a third night if you want Tattapani hot springs, Mashobra or a slow apple-orchard day at Fagu.
When does it snow in Shimla?
Reliable snowfall runs from late December to mid-February, with Kufri holding snow longer than the Ridge because it sits 400 m higher. January is the safest month if snow is the point of your trip.
Can we take a car up to Mall Road?
No — Mall Road and the Ridge are pedestrian-only. Vehicles stop at Cart Road, Lift Road or Victory Tunnel. Our drivers use the drop point closest to your hotel and help with luggage to the lift or porter stand.
Is the Kalka–Shimla toy train worth adding?
It's beautiful but slow — about five hours for 96 km. Many guests ride it one way and have the cab shadow them with the luggage to Shimla. Tell us in advance and we'll plan the driver's timing around your train.
Which is better for a day trip — Chail or Naldehra?
Chail if you want the palace, the cricket ground and dense deodar; Naldehra if you want the golf-course ridge and a shorter drive. Our 3-day package fits both into one comfortable day.
Is Shimla suitable for elderly travellers?
Yes, with planning. The Ridge is flat but the approach roads are steep, so we drop at the top-side entrances and keep walking distances short. Jakhoo temple has a ropeway that avoids the climb.
Do you handle Shimla hotel parking?
Yes. Parking in Shimla is scarce and paid; our fare already covers the parking your vehicle needs for the whole trip, including overnight at the Sanjauli or Cart Road lots.
Can we start the package from Kalka railway station?
Yes. Kalka is the standard railhead for Shimla and our driver meets Shatabdi arrivals on the platform side. The 90 km climb takes about two and a half hours.
What is there to do in Shimla in the evening?
Walk the Ridge to Scandal Point, browse Lakkar Bazaar for woodcraft, eat at the Mall's old cafés, and if the sky is clear take the Jakhoo ropeway for the last light over the Shivaliks.
