For 2–4 people a Dzire sedan is enough on the four-lane up to Mandi. For 5–6 people, or any winter travel past Nehru Kund, we recommend an Ertiga or Innova Crysta with chains in the boot. Groups above 9 take a 12-seater Tempo Traveller.

For trips under 250 km with six passengers, Ertiga gives you nearly the same practicality for roughly ₹4 per km less. Past 250 km — Delhi–Manali, Spiti, Leh — the Crysta's suspension, torque and third-row legroom are worth the difference.

Yes, on the Shimla–Kinnaur side in summer, driven by our high-altitude crew. We do not send Tempos over Kunzum Pass early or late in the season, and never on the Chandratal track — those bookings go to Scorpios.
