The Tosh and Malana roads are single-lane with sheer drops and no barriers. A tempo traveller cannot go past Barshaini — if your group is large, we run the valley legs in two SUVs and it costs about the same.

How much is a Kasol tour package from Delhi?
Four days from Delhi starts at ₹23,500 in a sedan and ₹28,500 in an SUV, all-inclusive. For groups of 10 or more a tempo traveller on the highway legs plus SUVs inside the valley usually works out cheapest — ask for a group quote.
Is Kasol safe for solo and women travellers?
Kasol, Chalal and Manikaran are busy, well-lit and generally safe. We advise against unlit walks on the Tosh and Malana roads after dark, and our drivers will always run you back to your stay rather than let you walk the valley road at night.
Can a car go all the way to Tosh?
Vehicles go as far as the Tosh parking above Barshaini; the last 1.5 km into the village is a walk of about 20–25 minutes. In winter the parking itself can be snowbound and the walk starts lower.
Is Manikaran worth visiting?
Yes. The gurudwara's natural hot springs are used to cook the langar, there's a Shiva temple beside it, and the sulphur baths are free. It's 4 km from Kasol and takes about two hours including the langar.
How hard is the Kheerganga trek?
Roughly 12 km round trip from Barshaini with 1,100 m of gain — four to five hours up, three down. It's a well-marked trail but steep in sections. Start by 8 am and carry water; there are tea shacks on the way.
What is the best time to visit Kasol?
March to June for green valley and comfortable trekking, September to November for clear skies and thin crowds. Monsoon brings landslide risk in the Parvati valley, and December to February is cold with snow above Barshaini.
Can we add Manali to the Kasol package?
Yes — Kasol to Manali is only 75 km, so a 5- or 6-day combined package works well and costs about ₹6,000–₹8,000 more. Many guests do Manali first, then wind down in Kasol.
Is Malana included?
We drive to the Malana dam road head where vehicles stop, and the village is a steep hour's walk beyond. Malana has its own customs about touching people and property — your driver will brief you before you set off.
Are there ATMs and network in Kasol?
There are a couple of ATMs in Kasol and Bhuntar that run out at weekends, so carry cash. Jio and Airtel work in Kasol and Manikaran; signal drops beyond Barshaini and in Tosh.
Do you allow music and late-night driving for groups?
Music, yes. Late-night valley driving, no — the Parvati road has blind curves, no barriers and loose gravel. Our drivers finish valley legs before dark, and that's a safety rule we don't bend.
